My dearest Carol and Anna

I felt I had to contact you to tell you how much I enjoyed our play therapy course.   I was quite resistant to doing it when I was TOLD  ‘you will do this’  and not given a reason.  As I work with adults and not children I was not sure how it would fit in, but boy am I so pleased Kerry was directive then.

I soon took a liking to the two of you and during the first day felt a connection.  I went home on the first day feeling exhilarated after singing and making music. On the second day I could not wait and even took on the personality of the child by adjusting my dress to play clothes. Another great day was had; special for me was the theory behind the play therapy and with the help of all the theorists I admire, really putting me in tune with my core beliefs and what I hold dear.

On the third day of excitement and not having to think  – I was so relaxed and chilled I could feel the change in me. This has been an invaluable experience: one which I will never forget and it has helped me to recognise that I have to  make some  decisions and adjustments in my life. I will take myself off to my caravan this weekend and reflect on the process and complete my journal,  thinking of you both with fondness.

I want to thank you both so much from the core of my being (which I have just found again) for the opportunity to work with you.  I can honestly say you have been inspirational to me.

I do hope we are able to keep in contact and touch base in the future.
